NYUAD has state-of-the-art research facilities in a new 15 acre campus on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In addition, the Engineering Division of NYUAD has close collaborations with the faculty and students of the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Our students are drawn from around the world and surpass all traditional academic benchmarks. Candidates with a strong record of interdisciplinary research in emerging areas are preferred. Candidates must have a PhD degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related discipline and must have the ability to develop and lead high-quality research and attract external funding. It is expected that the successful candidate will have access to doctoral programs and colleagues at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and the facilities available in the NYUAD Water Research Center.
