What you will do
As a Sr. Structural Designer, you will manage design projects and prepare drawings, specifications and construction documents for maintenance, repair, and alteration projects. Lead the review and updating of University Design & Construction Standards related to the field of expertise. Review design documents and specifications developed by outside consultants for compliance with University standards and best practices. Serve as a technical resource in structural engineering for multidiscipline projects within Facilities Engineering and across Facilities Campus Services. Support and develop asset management programs including coordination of assessments, planned/preventative maintenance, budgeting, capital planning, and updates of stakeholders. Manage capital projects (<$1M, low to medium complexity).
