Essential functions and duties specific to this position: 1. Collaborate with teams evaluating water resources on various environmental questions, ranging from chemistry to experimental design to time series analysis. 2. Develop hydrologic models and analyze and interpret results. 3. Develop statistical model and analyze and interpret results. 4. Discuss key ideas, results, and recommendations for different projects with various staff. 5. Draft scientific reports, memos, and spreadsheets. 6. Develop computer program in R, SAS, SQL and/or Python.
Knowledge of chemistry and environmental processes

All levels require graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Engineering or in a field related to the job, plus:
ENGINEER C: Eight (8) years engineering experience acquired either before and/or after licensing as a professional engineer.
ENGINEER B: Six (6) years engineering experience acquired either before and/or after licensing as a professional engineer.
ENGINEER A: Four (4) years engineering experience acquired either before and/or after licensing as a professional engineer.
ALL LEVELS: Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas, or if licensed in another state, must obtain Texas P.E. within 6 months of hire date as a condition of employment.
