New faculty will be rostered in one of the Departments participating in the College-wide BME initiative: Mechanical, Chemical and Biological, Electrical and Computer, Aerospace, Computer Science or Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, depending on the focus of their research and teaching. New positions may also align with one or more Interdisciplinary Research Themes (IRTs) in the College (https://www.colorado.edu/engineering/research/interdisciplinary-research-themes), with the goal to provide advanced technologies and therapies for diseases with unmet medical needs and develop new approaches for personalized medicine.
