The Department of Technology is recognized as one of the premier Technology programs in the nation at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Annually serving over 600 students, the faculty and staff are dedicated to preparing individuals for leadership positions as management-oriented technology professionals in six undergraduate programs and four areas of graduate study. Undergraduate majors include programs in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Graphic Communications, Computer Systems Technology, Renewable Energy, and Technology and Engineering Education. The Department has a graduate student enrollment of approximately 80 students and offers programs in Project Management, STEM Education and Leadership, Training and Development, and Quality Management and Analytics. The Department consists of 29 FTE faculty members, including tenured, tenure-track, full-time, and part-time instructors. 1. Earned doctorate in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or closely related field. Individuals who reasonably expect to complete a terminal degree by August 16, 2019, will be considered.
2. Expertise in one or more of the following areas: sustainability for building and/or infrastructure; sustainable construction; electrical and mechanical systems; heavy civil construction.
3. Demonstrated potential to conduct research in the appropriate field.
4. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement of this position.
