This engineering position encompasses all aspects of general aviation systems including the design, development, testing, FAA certification, product support, and ongoing product design maintenance.

General description of job:
An experienced engineer to lead in the design, development, certification, and delivering new aviation products to market. Specific job responsibilities include research and development, product design, design for manufacturing, certification testing, production and process design, quality control, product documentation and product support. Responsible in leading product teams through the new product development process, which includes creation of product designs, testing, safety assessments, design reviews, creating solid models and associated drawings, and production specifications. Additional responsibilities include support of ongoing improvements to products, the associated production process, and identification of manufacturing tooling and equipment required to produce the product.
