We are in search of a focused and experienced Structural Graduate Engineer/E.I.T. in both our Austin office. Responsible for providing technical support, including drafting and design, in the basic to complex development/design of building structures with primary construction materials including concrete, steel, masonry, wood, and aluminum.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structures• Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) in the state of Texas• Two years prior civil/structural engineering experience• Two years prior design experience
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Knowledge of and ability with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Bentley products• Knowledge of and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)• Ability to provide solid project documentation• Knowledge of structural design using primary construction materials, structural detailing practices, and government building codes
Soft/Other Skills• Complete multiple assignments successfully through effective multi-tasking and prioritizing• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Effective problem-solving skills• Ability to work with a team or independently as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Prior involvement in professional or technical societies/organizations• Master’s Degree in Structural and/or Architectural Engineering
