We are dedicated to providing the atmosphere to allow individuals to grow their career.Role OverviewCoordinates and works with Project Delivery Section staff in planning, overseeing, and implementing the operational deployment of advanced technology measurement and data collection systems. Coordinates and works with Advanced Technology Products Section staff to ensure that measurement and data collection systems delivered are configured, tested, and ready for field deployment. Oversees the program to train and qualify operators and field team leaders deploying advanced technology measurement and data collection systems. Responsible for the development and maintenance of operational procedures (and related controlled documents) necessary to deploy and operate the advanced technology measurement and data collection systems. Coordinates and oversees the mobilization and commissioning of advanced technology measurement and data collection systems. Supervises personnel assigned to the Technology Deployment Section. Provides operational support to field personnel who are operating advanced technology measurement and data collection systems. Oversees the compilation, analysis, and reporting of data packages generated by the advanced technology measurement and data collection systems. Effectively communicate with customer and regulatory personnel in the field and in meetings. This is a full-time position based at the Grand Junction, CO Radiological Services & Engineering office.Key ResponsibilitiesLiaise with Project Delivery Section staff and Advanced Technology Products Section staff to ensure that project data objectives are clearly understood and that deployments are effectiveWrite plans to manage the mobilization, commissioning, and deployment of advanced technology measurement and data collection systemsOversees the program to train and qualify personnel who deploy advanced technology measurement and data collection systemsDevelop and maintain operational procedures (and related controlled documents)May supervise one or more personnel trained as operators or field team leadersSecurely manage, analyze, and interpret various sensitive data streamsUse specialized equipment to collect & manage data and prepare analyses & reportsMaintain logs of field activitiesEffectively communicate with clients, regulators, field technicians, and equipment operatorsSet up, maintain, and calibrate equipmentWill travel to project sites in the US and internationally - Approximately 40 to 70% overnight travel
Skills / QualificationsMinimum of 2 years environmental field work or other directly relevant experienceAS or BS degree desired, or equivalent in experience and educationKnowledge of software communications protocols, computer networking and data managementProficiency in office software to include Windows OS, and MS Office, especially MS Excel, MS Access, and MS WordUnderstanding of applicable scientific methods and technical methodologiesAbility to understand procedural manuals and execute work ordersAbility to write and prepare plans, procedures, training courses, reports, and formsAbility to follow instructions with attention to detailAbility to effectively communicate technical information to a wide range of audiencesAbility to work independently and with a teamFlexibility to work outside normal business hours, in challenging weather conditionsFlexibility to work in the field on projects deploying advanced technology measurement and data collection systemsAbility and willingness to travel to project sites in the US and internationally - Approximately 40 to 70% overnight travelAbility to lift a minimum of 50 poundsMust pass drug test, physical, background check and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policyCompany OverviewWood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
