Clark County Public Works Preservation Program is seeking an Engineer II/III to perform asset management work. Primary responsibilities include maintaining the pavement and culvert databases, performing pavement network modeling and analyses, performing pavement visual inspections, performing culvert inspections, preliminary scoping of culvert repair/replacement projects, facilitating development of plans and specifications for pavement preservation projects such as overlays and surface seals, administering pavement preservation construction contracts, participating on project teams, and other engineering related duties as assigned.
Engineer positions are represented by Local 17, Professional and Technical Employees.
B.S. degree in Civil or related engineering and two (2) years of experience in an Engineer II or equivalent position and registration as a professional civil or structural engineer;
Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the State of Washington, or the ability to obtain registration within six months of appointment is required.
Applicants meeting the qualifications of an Engineer II will also be considered.
B.S. degree in Civil or related Engineering and two (2) years experience in an Engineering I classification or equivalent.

High School diploma or G.E.D. and four (4) years relative engineering work experience to include a minimum of two (2) years experience in an Engineering I classification or equivalent and possession of an E.I.T. certification.
