SSOE Group is currently looking for a Structural Engineer experienced in structural analysis and design of a wide variety of industrial buildings and/or process foundation systems. Previous experience in building codes and structural design standards is required. Must display effective communication and leadership skills related to structural projects ranging from small to large in size and complexity.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: •Perform engineering calculations. •Correspond with client regarding project requirements. •Lead the coordination and communication with other disciplines on projects. •Perform proposal work; determine project scope and provide hours for discipline tasks. •Supervise designers and junior level staff, during production of drawings on various projects. •Develop sections and detail drawings, review and advise on shop drawings, respond and give clarity to construction-related questions.
