Mead & Hunt is seeking a highly motivated individual to build our aviation practice in the Southeast. This position’s responsibilities include leading business development opportunities to expand our airport engineering and construction presence in the Southeast market; leading the design of aviation engineering projects; mentoring project staff; project management for airport engineering projects; evaluating and analyzing existing projects; preparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and permits. Travel will be required.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: airport design and/or construction experience; airport engineering project management experience; knowledge of FAA design criteria; experience mentoring staff; proven ability to win airport design and/or construction work in the Southeast; Southeast aviation market knowledge.
