Under the supervision of the Manager of Finance and Administration, the Grant Specialist performs a multitude of finance, administrative and accounting related activities necessary for the management of NJTPA’s grants and contracts, while ensuring compliance with university (NJIT), Federal, State and local laws, regulations and funding requirements.

Minimum of five years of experience in grants and contract management, accounting or financial administration, and procurement is required. At the university’s discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
