The Wichita, KS office is well established and continues to grow providing an atmosphere that allows individuals to grow their career.Key Responsibilities•Will coordinate and manage water resources, watershed/floodplain studies and/or storm water management projects•Will take task, phase, and project management roles on projects and mentor junior engineers and technicians•Serve as engineer of record on specific tasks or projects•Will perform hydrologic and hydraulic modelling tasks for a variety of water resources projects including dams, levee systems, watershed & floodplain studies, streambank stabilization, and stormwater systems•Effectively convey proposed work efforts and project results in technical documents, interviews, and oral presentations•Will develop and maintain client relationships
Skills / Qualifications •BS degree in Civil or Agricultural Engineering required•PE Certification•4 - 8 years’ experience•Preferred Software experience:?USACE HEC Programs (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, etc.), SWMM, 2-Dimentiional Flow Modelling, ESRI ArcGIS, and CADD•Technical writing and communication skills•Must pass a drug screen, background check, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company’s driving (MVR) policyDiversity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer that recognises the value of a diverse workforce.
