The primary function of the Wind Energy Technician is to provide construction representative services on large renewable energy projects (wind farm). The Wind Energy Technician is responsible for performing testing of concrete in the field and laboratory for air content, slump, temperature, casting of concrete cylinders, de-molding, and compression testing in the field and lab. You will also perform soil testing, collecting samples, hand proctoring and using a troxler 3440 nuclear density gauge.
This position requires extended periods away from home. You will be out 10-12 weeks at a time then get a weekend off. You will travel to various project site locations in the U.S. Project locations are in CO, OK, IA, NM, NE, TX, IL, CA.
