The City of Pasadena - Public Works Department is seeking two experienced Engineers to manage the design and construction of municipal facility and bridge projects. This includes the planning, design and implementation of capital projects adhering to plans, specifications, timeframes, and budget limitations. Current and future City projects include the design and construction of the new Transit Operations and Maintenance Center, Robinson Park Recreation Center, fire station renovations, and structural retrofit of Holly Street Bridge.There are two vacancies in the Capital Projects Section of the Engineering Division within the Public Works Department.IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in their field, preferably in project and construction management of public sector projects. The candidate will have recent experience managing a diverse range of multi-discipline projects in a municipal government agency. This person will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication and writing skills, negotiation and decision-making skills, and the ability to multi-task and solve problems.
