Multiple positions are available in the Hartford Office Construction Services Department on several ConnDOT projects. Open positions include Scheduler, Chief Inspector, Senior Inspector and Inspector. Candidates will be responsible to inspect Highway, Bridge, Rail and Facility Construction Projects and to provide all administrative functions required for the Project, including but not limited to the preparation of daily reports, correspondence, construction orders, payment estimates, quantity computations, estimating, schedule reviews, material sampling and testing, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or Small Business Enterprise (SBE) monitoring, final documentation and State and Federal reports.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Preferred candidates must have at least 2 years related experience (ConnDOT experience preferred). NICET II certification and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field are preferred. Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills.
