The successful candidate will have significant industrial bioengineering experience in product design and/or manufacturing. We anticipate that the candidate will teach courses that involve laboratory and capstone design projects, as well as oral and written communications, economic feasibility analysis, safety compliance, and quality assurance analysis. The successful candidate will mentor students and assist in the transition from the classroom to the professional workforce and assist with developing industry and business relationships to provide opportunities for student internships and cooperative work experiences.
The candidate must have earned a bachelor-level degree at minimum and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates will be evaluated based on their professional experience, service to the profession, and level of accomplishment in industry.
