Under the direction of the Town Administrator, the Director of Engineering oversees a department consisting of four employees and a FY2017 operating budget of $795,315.The Department enjoys a fully cash-funded capital improvement program with a five-year projected budget in excess of $35 million.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, four (4) or more years of professional Civil Engineering experience, with a minimum two (2) years in Utilities, and three (3) or more years of management experience. A Professional Civil Engineering License in Texas or the ability to obtain one within 12 months is required. A master's degree is desirable and municipal public works experience is strongly preferred. The salary range for this position is $149,291 to $ 195, 078.
