AIHA Proficiency Analytical Testing Programs, LLC, seeks a Program Manager, responsible for managing overall technical and quality programs so the LLC can function at an optimal level and meet demands of its participants and customer. This position reports to the Director of Operations, AIHA PAT Programs.
You have a proactive approach to developing and maintaining a technical and quality/management system aligned to an ISO Standard. You are committed to working collaboratively with your team, subject matter experts, subcontractors, and/or the PAT Board to achieve goals and maintain a high quality program. You understand the role of international standards in accreditation and are familiar with proficiency testing. You are comfortable with statistics and can use them to see the story in large data sets. You enjoy interacting with customers and look forward to providing outstanding service. You are a quick study and enjoy the challenge of learning new things. You are familiar with updating, authoring, reviewing, maintaining, and following quality systems policies and procedures.
As an integral part of the high-performance PAT Programs team, you are goal-oriented and have an inner drive for getting things done. You are accountable for meeting deadlines and are results focused.
You possess the following: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a physical/biological science or quality systems management; at least three years of non-academic analytical experience in a laboratory or other proven quality system; business and/or operational management skills. Your competencies will include the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization; ability to understand and translate workflow into a quality system procedure or work instruction; and knowledge of quality system management.
