The School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University seeks an outstanding candidate for the position of Lecturer (all ranks) starting August 16, 2018. Appointments will be made at the rank of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Principal Lecturer, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and accomplishments. Job responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in and aerospace engineering, in particular in the areas of space systems design as well as rocket and space propulsion, orbital mechanics, and other areas of astronautical engineering. Other responsibilities include holding office hours, supervising undergraduate design and research projects, and participating in course and program assessment. Additional duties may include online course development and delivery, graduate course instruction, and advising student organizations. This position is non-tenure-track. It is anticipated that the contract will be renewed annually subject to satisfactory performance.
