The Manager, Corridor and Facility Planning provides leadership, oversight, direction and management within the Capital and Service Development Division. The position is key to the development of and securing federal funding for future high capacity transit corridors, as well as for capital facilities needed to support the regional transit system. This position plays a key role in Valley Metro's communications with the Federal Transit Administration. Typical duties include developing regional transit system plans; planning for transit corridors and facilities; conducting alternatives analyses and transit oriented development planning; and implementing strategies to advance Valley Metro's (VM) future bus and rail program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Civil Engineering, Business or Public Administration or related field and seven (7) years' experience in transit planning including three (3) years in a management or supervisory role and broad based experience in transit planning and project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties. Master's Degree preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:
Certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners preferred.
