Job Responsibilities –
CDM Smith currently has a new opportunity for a Client Service Leader in Nashville for our Tennessee Transportation Group. As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by: -Developing new business and maintaining high-value relationships with transportation clients of all modes in the Tennessee market which includes TDOT, Nashville MTA, and county agencies that have Transportation programs-Developing and managing proposal efforts, presentations, and taking the lead in contract negotiations including but not limited to terms & conditions, scope and budget-Working effectively with Project Managers and key technical specialists-Being active in professional societies in which clients or potential clients are members-Personally leading select projects within technical area of expertise
Job Requirements –
A successful CDM Smith candidate will have:-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Science, or related engineering -At least 12 years of experience since Bachelor’s degree in business development, assisting with the proposal process and presenting/meeting with state, county and municipal transportation clients-Tennessee P.E. or AICP or ability to secure one-Excellent communication, networking, and team building skills
Preferred Qualifications :
-Transportation engineering experience in a seller/doer role with the TDOT and other county agencies-Experience at an engineering consulting firm in the Tennessee market- Transit experience-Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Science, or related engineering
