We currently are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and innovative Industrial Engineer. This key position will be based in our manufacturing facility located in Opelika, AL.

Provides industrial engineering support for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and improved quality via improved understanding of loss. Leads target rate and financial standard setting process for manufacturing and/or packaging lines. Leads or supports the process of educating others on findings via reporting development and data capture. Establishes baseline information for machine and labor performance metrics that support financial, planning and operational control systems.
A four-year college degree or its equivalent in Engineering or Scientific discipline is required.
American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer preferred.
Six Sigma green or black belt preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, healthcare, laboratory or supply chain environment
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering activities or disciplines requiring regular application of process improvement and observational study methodology
Work is performed in both the manufacturing and office environment, which requires the ability to sit for long periods of time and to move freely through the manufacturing and warehousing areas.
Light to moderate exposure to disagreeable elements is negligible.
The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
