This position reports to F-35 and will be focused on execution of Quality Engineering Projects, most notably Product Process Validation (PPV) Phase II Project. This position will report directly to the F-35 Q&MS Team and will be responsible for successful execution of the 3 year PPV project.o The primary intent of PPV is to act as a validation and verification that manufacturing sequence, manufacturing planning processes, and work instructions can repeatedly produce products compliant to engineering data package and design intent.o The secondary intent is to identify the critical operations which are the most significant and/or causing the most process disruption.• This role may involve working with cross-functional support organizations and process; focusing on shop floor application of design data. • Direct support and interface with the F-35 Quality Engineering, F-35 Production Operations, and Production Engineering departments. • Scope of responsibility includes quality and cost data analysis, lead root cause, corrective and preventive action investigations/ decisions/ validations, variation management actions, integration tasks, along with area improvement strategy and planning.• Responsible and accountable for delivering effective methods and initiating improvements positively impacting overall quality performance. • Will collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement. Will provide local customer interface.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent directly related work experience- Experience working at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical capabilities to communicate and influence others in a concise, data driven manner. - Conduct/coordinate process and product evaluations and assessments.- Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
