The successful candidate will work in Taitem’s thriving Design Department, focusing on plumbing and fire protection design for both new and existing buildings, and will also contribute to mechanical and electrical design projects, as part of our MEP+S team.

•Proficiency in AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD
•Experience working independently on complex projects
•Five years in a comparable position
•Demonstrated ability to manage projects
•Ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers
•Strong knowledge of building codes, esp. for New York State
•Ability to communicate clearly and expertly with peers and clients
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
•New York Professional Engineer license or eligibility
•Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design for buildings
•Experience with energy-efficient technologies and sustainable design principles
•Hands-on experience in plumbing or other building trades
