We have a full time opportunity for a Senior Managing Environmental Engineer in our Latham, NY office. This position will be responsible for providing engineering services and technical support for projects assigned by senior and managing engineers.
The successful candidate will be:
Highly knowledgeable of the various USEPA and NYSDEC environmental regulatory programs; including but not limited to the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, solid and hazardous waste programs, environmental auditing, and petroleum and chemical bulk storage programs. Additional experience in water and/or wastewater treatment plant design, and/or with the environmental regulatory programs of other Northeast states preferred.
Responsible for direct client contact and interaction, development of project scopes and fees, and implementation of project work scopes within the prescribed timelines and budgets. Responsibilities will include providing client representation and interaction with various federal, State and local regulatory agencies, as necessary.
Bachelor’s Degree in environmental, chemical or civil engineering and 10+ years experience in providing environmental and health & safety regulatory compliance and design services for institutional, industrial and governmental entities. Must hold and maintain a valid NYS driver’s license. A NYS Professional Engineer license is required.
