Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently seeking an CEI Senior Inspector to perform quality assurance, construction oversight and project management services. This position will be located in our Tampa, FL office. Key Responsibilities•Construction quality assurance inspections and reporting•Leading design reviews•Monitor Code and permit compliance•Coordinate and attend construction progress meetings•Close-out and site restoration compliance•Operations and Maintenance Manual Reviews•Monitor the site development work and natural resources and environmental compliance•Review and oversight of contractor's health and safety program, quality control program and environmental program•Review, track and as needed recommendation of contractor Submittals, Shop Drawings, Requests for Information and Change Order Requests•Coordinate and lead punch list and final inspections review•Close-out and site restoration compliance•Labor compliance evaluations•Provide project updates and monthly compliance reports•Monitor work progress
Skills / Qualifications •Prior experience in construction of vertical facilities and roadway plus•5+ years of construction management and project management services•Proactive, polished, independent, technically competent, assertive, well-spoken and a proven ability to successfully perform in high pressure environments •Knowledgeable of municipal processes from Planning Phase on through Design, Bidding and Construction. Hillsborough experience preferred•Minimum of Associate degree in engineering discipline or construction / project management•Proficient in general office related software such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Project Manager•Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policyCertifications•CTQP Asphalt Paving Levels 1 and 2•CTQP Earthwork Levels 1 and 2•CTQP Concrete•CTQP Final Estimates Level 1•Maintenance of Traffic - Minimum Intermediate LevelCompany Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
