Overview / Responsibilities Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of marine construction management experience in the Los Angeles basin in either waterside (wharf and pier design) and/or backlands design for marine structures , highways and rail systems.Key Responsibilities •Client project and/or task management on marine civil or structural design projects•Proposal production support and technical quality control•Technical report production•Support client relationships and increase business opportunities through client satisfaction•Develop strong relationships with existing regional clients both internal (Wood Divisions) and external through reliable project delivery on time on budget resulting in an increase in repeat business
Skills / Qualifications •Minimum of 10 years of marine construction management experience •Proficient in basic project management software including Microsoft project, Primavera, MicroStation, and other pertinent software programs Candidate should be familiar with aspects of marine terminal development and redevelopment as well as marine facilities public works•Should have good technical writing skills to include both report and proposal production•Experience in the Los Angeles basin in either waterside (wharf and pier design) and/or backlands design for marine structures , highways and rail systemsCompany Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
