Overview / Responsibilities Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking a CMT Technician with experience in soils, concrete and masonry testing to join our team in Jacksonville, FL Key Responsibilities •Perform soil density testing using both nuclear gauge and sand cone in accordance with ASTM and project specifications•Perform sampling and testing of concrete in accordance with ASTM and project specifications•Prepare and submit written field reports summarizing daily activities/observations and density calculations and results
Skills / Qualifications •High School Diploma or equivalent•ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician-Grade I preferred•0-2 years of related experience preferred•At least one of the following current certifications preferred:?FDOT CTQP Earthwork Level 1?FDOT CTQP Concrete Level 1?FDOT CTQP Paving Level 1•Good verbal and written communication skills•Ability to travel as needed•Valid driver’s license•Must pass drug test, fit for duty physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy Physical Demands•Applicants must have the ability to: •Work in varying environments (office, lab and field settings)•Perform physically demanding field work•Regularly lift up to 50lbsCompany Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
