Evans is seeking a dynamic City Engineer to serve as a member of a collaborative team to pave the way for future success. The City Engineer will lead a team of professional staff to ensure high quality design, construction, and functionality of City infrastructure; collaborate with community development and public works staff to ensure effective and efficient, customer–centered service; and represent Evans in regional infrastructure planning forums.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This position offers a highly competitive salary. The salary range for the City Engineer position is $82,200—$123,200/year and will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and match with the desired attributes being sought by the City. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; six years of experience in civil engineering; two years of lead work or supervisory experience; current Professional Engineering License; possession of or ability to obtain a Colorado driver's license upon hire; and ability to obtain Flood Plain Manager Certification. Master’s Degree and previous municipal civil engineering experience are desirable. Equivalent combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.
