Wood’s Phoenix, AZ office is seeking a senior level (over 15 years of applicable experience) Civil Drafter/Designer candidate with advanced computer aided design (CAD) skills and meaningful experience in infrastructure design to support the Infrastructure Branch, primarily the Surface Water practice. In addition to the Surface Water practice, the Infrastructure Branch consists of several other discipline/practice groups – including water/wastewater, transportation/traffic, and site civil/development.
Primary focus for project work will be to prepare construction documents for stormwater, drainage, and flood control infrastructure. Surface Water projects require multi-disciplinary knowledge of civil design and construction, so the position allows diverse work to include water/wastewater/gas utilities, streets/intersections/pathways, vertical grading and horizontal positioning of site facilities, stormwater drainage basins/conveyances, and interface with data collected by land surveys/mapping. The position may also support other specialty disciplines and infrastructure projects.
