Overview / Responsibilities Wood has a part-time internship opportunity in our Socorro, NM office with interest/focus on water resources, this would include geology, hydrology, and civil engineering students. The on-call position has a flexible work schedule to accommodate a student intern. Hours will vary depending on project needs.Key Responsibilities•Review and tabulate field data, laboratory analysis results, and interpretation/analysis results•Generate charts and tables for reports from tabulated results•Assist in the analysis of data collected from the field and laboratory•Assist with general office tasks
Skills / Qualifications •Experience/class work in the following areas desirable: geology, stratigraphy, sedimentation, geophysics, groundwater hydrology, civil engineering•Master’s student preferred•Excellent oral and written English communication skills preferred•Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills•Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and staff in a team environment •Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policyCompany Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
