•Design, implement and train the team on new RCM processes and track our performance
•Develop and implement equipment asset plans using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), FMEA, Risk Based Inspections (RBI) and other standard reliability techniques.
•Analyze equipment trends, historical data, and field data to recommend and justify improvements to obtain lowest life cycle cost on different classes of equipment.
•Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control and maintenance activities.
•Evaluate current designs and identify, develop, implement, and test modifications for reliability and maintenance improvements
•Collaborate with our highly skilled design team on turnover of projects to build reliability programs for new and existing equipment
•Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and develop cost-effective equipment/systems-corrective actions
•Lead reliability related incident investigations including prioritization of action items and follow-up on implementation.
•Ensure lessons learned, best practices, and action items from reliability incidents are communicated both internally to the site and externally to other sites and incorporated in the design of new projects and new technical specifications. •Assist in the identification and set-up of spare parts stocking
•Provide periodic reports as assigned on problems and their solutions for distribution to team and management personnel.
•Respond with commitment and sensitivity toward satisfying the needs of internal and external customers.
•Actively promote a “reliability culture” and continuous improvement philosophy
•Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
•Strong hands-on experience with automated instrumentation/equipment for laboratory, production, and/or agricultural field environments
•Knowledge/Experience with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Reliability-Centered Maintenance, and Root Cause Failure Analysis
•Proactive approach to equipment maintenance to anticipate issues and process bottlenecks
•Strong computer skills related to data capture, organization and analysis
•Strong foresight, planning, prioritization and organizational skills
•Passion for and experience with quickly identifying and troubleshooting problems in automation and control systems (mechanical, electrical, and software) •Demonstrated effective written and oral communication
