TAKTL® is a Pittsburgh-based designer and manufacturer of facade panels and architectural elements utilizing propriety new Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) formulation and automated production technology. Our products have been chosen for building envelopes in prestigious commercial and institutional projects worldwide. We are currently looking for an experienced research engineer to join the recently created division of TAKTL that will explore material and process optimization for existing applications as well as entirely new avenues of research in four broad areas: (1) high performance cement-based materials, (2) reinforcements, (3) urethanes and mold technologies, and (4) sealers and coatings. This role requires the ability to design and manage effective research projects and collaborate closely with consultants and research partners as well as in-house engineers, designers, and functional leaders. Research projects will be conducted both in the laboratory and in collaboration with the manufacturing team, at full scale on the production line.
