Precision Cable Assemblies/GEP Power Products is a growing manufacturing company with an opening at its corporate headquarters in Brookfield WI in the Quality Assurance Department. On the Quality Assurance Team you will have an important role working in the areas of:
External Resources – Work with suppliers, subcontractors for ongoing quality inspection and resolving quality issues. Review and updating of receiving inspection plans, issuing supplier CARS as needed, tracking quality performance of suppliers and issuance of quarterly supplier PPM reports. Vendor communication on current standing or any improvement actions needed. Supplier audits as needed.
Customer Complaint Resolution- Assist in customer complaint processing including but not limited to logging complaints, issuing Ras, communicating with other departments regarding the complaint, coordinating containment activities as authorized by the Director of Quality, entering CARS in database. Participation in weekly CAR meeting for both Mexico and Brookfield facilities; track responses and follow-up on overdue CARs, verification activities of implementation and effectiveness. Create and submit reports of results as required.
PPAP Process- Support QA by assisting in various aspects of the PPAP process as required by the Director of Quality. This includes development of DFMEAS, PFMEAS, Control plans, MSAs, CPK, PPK Studies, Etc. following AIAG standards.
Warranty Claim Processing – Assist in the analyzing of Warrant claims submitted by customers and perform investigation as needed. Create and submit reports of findings.
Reporting- Create and present reports utilizing Microsoft Office products as required by the Director of Quality.
Additional Duties- Assist the Director of Quality in ISO 9001:2015 maintenance including but not limited to participation in Internal ISO audits, Risk Based thinking and Process Improvement Teams.
