We are seeking your skills and experience to independently perform expedited and full Board review of research applications, review exempt determinations, perform general compliance oversight, and assist in the maintenance and organization of agency and institutional compliance paperwork. In addition, this position will provide training coordination, budgetary preparation and analyze and prepare performance measures for the Washington State Institutional Review Board (WSIRB) in the Department of Social and Health Services. The primary responsibility in this role is to review human subjects research conducted under the jurisdiction of multiple Washington state agencies.
WSIRB functions are unique. The work is governed by federal as well as state law, and presents a critical component of the human subject protection programs for several Washington State agencies.
