Manage the quality management system and associated personnel.
Manage and improve the internal inspection process. Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures, publish non-conformance reports.
Establish and improve the Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) process. Investigate and act on trends to improve product and processes quality.
Maintain and improve documentation for ISO 9001 business system.
Lead QC inspectors.
Lead functional test station personnel.
Lead Service Department.
Investigate (and correct) customer issues relating to quality. Coordinate corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Collect and report on quality metrics and recommend improvements.
Evaluate quality function/personnel and align resources for optimal effectiveness.
Coordinate Engineering, Operations, and Service to improve written product and process standards.
Conceive and execute system audits for ISO compliance.
Conduct periodic executive quality system reviews.
Interpret and train quality control philosophy to key personnel.
Coordinate with Purchasing and vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts.
Bachelor's Degree plus 3-5 years of Quality Engineering/Quality Management experience.
