Alameda CTC seeks an Associate Transportation Planner to assist with and lead exciting transportation planning projects and programs. Under general supervision from the Deputy Executive Director of Planning and Policy, the position manages, implements, and monitors transportation planning projects and programs, including long-range transportation planning and short-term studies; completes technical assessments and data analysis and prepares written project findings; provides complex program or planning coordination, oversight, and administrative support in the development, implementation and administration of the Alameda CTC’s programs, such as the Safe Routes to Schools program, Student Transit Pass program, and planning efforts such as multimodal corridor plans, the Countywide Transportation Plan, or the Countywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan; ; manages and facilitates meetings with stakeholders and committee meetings; oversees and conducts program evaluations; and develops, summarizes, and maintains administrative and fiscal records. The position will also assist in developing grant and funding applications, including writing and technical analysis, manage necessary agreements, and administer funding from multiple sources; and perform related work as required.
