Faculty Position in Molecular Biology
The Department of Biology at the University of Missouri-St. Louis invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of molecular biology at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of biology faculty as well as participate in the interdisciplinary Biochemistry and Biotechnology program. Candidates will be expected to lead an independent, externally-funded research program and teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Molecular research programs that would add to our strengths in plant biology or evolution are especially encouraged. Applicants must have a PhD in an appropriate discipline, relevant postdoctoral experience, a strong publication record, and a commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
