THE DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING at the Florida State University and Florida A&M University’s College of Engineering (jointly administered by both universities) invites applicants for a full-time Teaching Faculty position in the subjects of thermal and fluid sciences. This position requires a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and is not tenure earning. The selected candidate is expected to teach core courses in thermal and fluid engineering including thermal-fluids laboratory, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and other relevant courses. The position could begin as early as early January 2018 but before May 31, 2018.

We are looking for a motivated engineering professional with demonstrated experience and pedagogical skills in classroom and hands-on laboratory teaching.
