We are recruiting for a project manager. The primary purpose of this position is to supervise and manage ODOT's role in the delivery of multi-million dollar transportation construction projects. The project manager is responsible for the contract administration of Commission Services construction contracts. This person also represents the engineer on the project and has the authority to enforce the provisions of the contract.Project managers oversee a staff of engineers, technicians, surveyors, and clerical personnel who assist in the project manager's role as the contract administrator of ODOT construction contracts, as well as the construction management experts for the agency.We invite members of all diverse communities to join our workforce as we endeavor to best serve Oregonians from every background. Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:A valid Professional Engineer's (PE) license in civil, structural, or transportation-related engineering AND three (3) years of journey level professional engineer experience. NOTE: If registered in another state, successful applicants will be required to obtain comity within six months of hire. Special Qualifications:Driving is an essential function of this position. A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record are required for this position. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s).
