Quality Assurance Manager
Nammo Energetics Indian Head, Inc. is a US defense contractor and a member of the Nammo Group (Nammo AS). Nammo Energetics develops, manufactures and specializes in propulsion and energetic material products for tactical missiles, rocket motors, and warheads. Nammo Energetics is presently expanding operations and is looking for dedicated team members to assist with new start-up operations and program execution.

Our chosen candidate will manage Quality Assurance department resources to effectively meet program and company requirements, including staffing, training, certifications, assignments, schedules and work efficiency. Candidate must possess outstanding facilitation and conflict-resolutions skills, and the ability to work in collaborative environments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
BA/BS Degree required. Engineering-Sciences degree with 5 years of experience within a Quality Assurance/Engineering organization preferred. Exposure to product development and production/factory floor environment is also a plus.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have familiarity with Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Visio. Familiarity with solid modeling software (i.e. Solid Edge/SolidWorks) 3D model and 2D drawing creation.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to understand and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Strong analytic and problem solving skills. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and be able to operate effectively in a team environment. Experience with explosives and ordnance manufacturing, composite structures, chemicals, calibration and lab testing, auditing and source inspections, SPC (Statistical Process Control) and product life-cycle management (PLM) software is preferred. Functional knowledge of Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO9001) is a plus. Ability to partner with other Production Operation teams as well as external suppliers and vendors to management to requirements.
Ability to obtain BATF approval to work with our products. Ability to qualify for and if necessary obtain DoD security clearance. A clearance requires US Citizenship per government contracts with NEIH.
