The Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering has thirteen (13) full-time faculty members with specialties in construction, environmental, geotechnical, structural, transportation, and water resources engineering. There are opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across the university through Blue Gold (bluegold.sdsu.edu), an area of excellence at SDSU. The Department offers B.S. degrees in civil, environmental, and construction engineering, an M.S. degree, and a joint Ph.D. degree with the University of California at San Diego.
