Applications are invited for multiple tenure-track research fellow positions or specialists in Biotechnology Center in Southern Taiwan of Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center, Academia Sinica, Taiwan (AS-BCST). The successful candidates are expected to develop a rigorous research program in the four thematic research fields of agricultural biotechnology, including AgriGenomics, High Quality Breeding, Translational Agricultural Research, and Synthetic Biology & Value-Added Agriculture.
The AS-BCST located in Tainan was established to cultivate a multidisciplinary approach to research, bringing constant innovation and techniques to the development of biotechnology industry that help in solving the problem of agriculture and foster the development of Bio-Agricultural industry in Taiwan. The current research programs focus on crop genomics & microbiota, molecular breeding for important agricultural traits, and adaptive strategy to environmental changes, systems biology & functional foods, and other mission-oriented basic researches.
