Statewide Stormwater Engineer – This position is a Professional Engineer I (pending reclassification to Professional Engineer II) in the Engineering, Hydrology, and Geology Program (EHG) of the Division of Water Resource Management. This is an advanced technical position responsible for providing technical support in assisting with the implementation of laws, regulations and policies of the Environmental Resource Permitting (ERP); National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Stormwater; and Potable Source & Drinking Water Programs. The EHG Program staff also provides professional engineering services to the DEP Districts’ ERP Permitting and Compliance Assistance Programs, as well as providing guidance to both ERP and Water Management District staff. Additionally, this position is expected to provide assistance for rulemaking; development of policy and guidance documents; and may also provide testimony for administrative proceedings with the Division of Administrative Hearings.
