Plans, coordinates and directs the Quality Assurance Program designed to ensure excellent quality standards in all AGM/Ascension products, as well as incoming vendor parts. Responsible for Quality Management Systems, as well as overseeing internal and external audits.

Four-year college or university degree in science or math and/or three to five years related experience in quality assurance. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5M. Must have working knowledge of GD&T; GD&T certification is preferred.
Must be able to speak, read and write English. Must have ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. Must be able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Must have ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, vendors and customers.
Must have ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Must have ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, stand, use hands to touch, handle or feel, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally is required to stoop, creep or crouch. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working around moving mechanical parts or machines. In addition, the employee is exposed to, and may come in direct contact with, potentially hazardous chemicals or materials. Therefore, the employee must follow proper safety procedures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
