Nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report, Rush University Medical Center’s Division of Geriatric Medicine seeks a motivated, board-certified/board-eligible palliative medicine physician to serve as a clinician-educator at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.This opportunity is ideal for the Palliative Medicine physician who is interested in an urban academic teaching hospital and working within a robust and rapidly growing interdisciplinary palliative medicine team. The ideal applicant will be fellowship-trained in Palliative Medicine with board-certification in his/her primary specialty, as well as board-certification or board eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Experience with substance abuse and addiction medicine is preferred. Candidates with a strong interest in presenting and publishing at the regional and national level are encouraged to apply.
