Ensures that the full range of complex contracts comply with MARTA and governmental EEO/DBE; OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program); Title VI; ADA; and Environmental Justice contract compliance requirements. Develops tailored listings of minority, women, veteran, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) owned businesses to participate in procurement opportunities.
Conducts and evaluates certification reviews; analyzes complex financial and corporate documents; and recommends certification approval. Reviews and monitors the implementation of contractors' affirmative action plans, outreach programs, and EEO goal attainment.
Recommends DBE participation percentages in contracts and monitors compliance. Confirms that certified DBEs are used on contracts and provides DBEs with technical information and support on short/long range contract opportunities with the Authority.
Investigates complaints and seeks resolution for technical and/or contractual disputes related to EEO and DBE contractual matters.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration or related field and six years direct experience working with supplier diversity program development and management, contracts and procurement.
Must have directly related experience with small purchase contracts, analyzing accounting information. Experience formulating recommendations on minority, women, veteran, and LGBT-owned businesses participation preferred. Effective communication and mediation skills, and tracking and auditing data. Must be proficient in mathematical operations and have the ability to decipher and relate information to individuals at all levels throughout the organization. In lieu of degree, directly related experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
