Job Responsibilities/Essential Duties: • Sales/Marketing of Low Voltage services in the territories of Montana, Northern Wyoming and Western North Dakota. Travel is required. • Develop project estimates, budgets, negotiating and schedules for commercial installation of Fire Alarm, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Nurse Call, Clock Program, Sound, Voice Data, and other Low Voltage Systems • Responsible for quantity survey, material pricing, labor costing, application, analysis of other cost items, pricing of specialty items and subcontracts • Responsible for bid/no bid decisions, negotiating and contract reviews • Coordinate and assist with the design and production of shop drawings for permitting with the AHJ as necessary • Capable of supporting company efforts in maintaining profitability and reputation in the workplace • Communicate estimate installation details to the Service Manager and installers • Travel to client/project sites as needed to determine project status, scope and/or schedule • Other responsibilities as requested by the Management
Desirable Skills, Attributes, and Experience:
• Experience with sales having the ability to close deals
• Experience and knowledge of fire alarm, access control & security alarm systems, video surveillance, and other related systems and products
• Experience with a variety of system types and manufacturers
• Knowledge of Edwards Fire Alarm Systems
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings
• Experience with fire alarm design and estimating projects
• NICET Level ll or higher a plus
• Strong knowledge of industry codes such as NFPA, IBC, AND NEC
• Experience in working with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong time management, organization and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to deal with people in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
