The Manager, Service Planning is responsible for managing and coordinating (bus and light rail) service planning functions in the Service Planning Department within the Capital and Service Development Division. Typical duties include managing activities associated semi-annual service changes (transit service enhancements, route expansions/modifications, and multi-modal interface), data analysis, budget preparation, annual update of the Short Range Transit Program, promotion and application of Transit Standards and Performance Measures and providing support for local, sub-regional and regional transit planning efforts. All activities are carried out in close coordination with partner agencies.
